Job Summary:

GracePath Healthcare is actively seeking compassionate and dedicated Private Duty Caregivers to join our team, either as live-in or live-out professionals. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized care and companionship to elderly or disabled clients in their private homes.

  • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and feeding.

  • Monitor and report changes in the clients physical or emotional condition.

  • Administer prescribed medication and support in mobility and physical therapy exercises as required.

  • Prepare healthy meals, assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and errands.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and activities performed.

  • Build trusted relationships with clients and their families while preserving their dignity and independence.

  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals and family members for comprehensive care delivery.

  • Maintain a safe and clean living environment for clients.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional caregiving certifications are a plus (e.g., HHA, CNA).

  • Basic understanding of senior care practices and safety protocols.

  • Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

  • Physically fit and capable of assisting with lifting or patient mobility support.

  • Reliable, punctual, and highly empathetic in nature.

  • Ability to work independently and adapt to different household environments.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience in home care, nursing, or assisted living settings is preferred.

  • Freshers with formal training or strong passion for elder care will also be considered.

  • International candidates with caregiving experience are welcome, especially those seeking U.S. sponsorship.


Working Hours:

  • Flexible scheduling available:

    • Live-In: 24-hour coverage with designated breaks and sleep time.

    • Live-Out: Shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours per day; part-time and full-time roles available.

  • Weekend and overnight availability is a strong advantage.

  • In-depth knowledge of elder care, dementia support, and patient hygiene practices.

  • Patience, compassion, and strong emotional intelligence.
