Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking detail-oriented, digitally savvy, and proactive individuals to join our growing team as Remote Content Moderators. In this role, you will ensure that user-generated content across popular social media platforms aligns with community guidelines and safety standards. Key Responsibilities

• Review user-generated content including posts, comments, images, and videos across various social media platforms.

• Identify and remove content that violates platform guidelines or is harmful, offensive, or inappropriate.

• Escalate complex or sensitive content to the appropriate teams in accordance with escalation protocols.

• Maintain a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and consistency while moderating.

• Use predefined tools and moderation dashboards to perform daily tasks.

• Stay updated on evolving community standards and moderation guidelines.

• Provide feedback and contribute to process improvements for better user safety and platform compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking.

• Familiarity with major social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter).

• Ability to make quick, sound decisions based on guidelines.

• Basic computer literacy and comfort using moderation tools or dashboards.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Experience

• Prior experience in content moderation, customer service, or digital platforms is preferred but not mandatory.

• Freshers with strong social media awareness and critical thinking skills are encouraged to apply.

Working Hours

• Flexible working hours available: Choose between Day Shifts or Night Shifts based on availability.

• Minimum commitment: 4–8 hours per day depending on shift preference.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Good understanding of internet culture and trends.

• Sensitivity to content involving graphic, violent, or offensive material (with psychological resilience).

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.

• Strong sense of ethics and a commitment to online community integrity.

• Adaptability to new tools and changing moderation policies.
