Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Compliance Analyst (Remote) to support the operations of NGOs and nonprofit organizations. This role involves monitoring and evaluating internal compliance processes, ensuring regulatory adherence, and supporting ethical practices across international donor-funded programs. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess organizational compliance with local and international regulations (e.g., FCRA, GDPR, AML, IRS guidelines for 501(c)(3) organizations).

• Assist with internal and external audits, including preparing documentation and coordinating with auditors.

• Develop, review, and update policies, procedures, and internal controls.

• Conduct compliance risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.

• Monitor donor requirements and ensure programmatic adherence.

• Review partner and vendor contracts to ensure regulatory and ethical compliance.

• Prepare compliance reports and presentations for senior management.

• Support incident investigations and ensure appropriate resolutions.

• Train internal teams on compliance best practices, standards, and reporting mechanisms.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Law, Business Administration, International Relations, Compliance, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks affecting the NGO and non-profit sector.

• Excellent research, analytical, and documentation skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication in English.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• High level of integrity, ethics, and attention to detail.

Experience

• Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in compliance, audit, legal support, or regulatory affairs.

• Prior experience working with NGOs, nonprofit organizations, or international donors is preferred.

• Experience in remote, cross-functional collaboration is a plus.

Working Hours

• Flexible work-from-home schedule (minimum 30 hours/week).

• Core collaboration hours: 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM IST (for internal/team syncs).

• Occasional meetings across different time zones depending on donor or project needs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Familiarity with nonprofit regulatory guidelines (local and international).

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under deadlines.

• Comfortable navigating ethical grey areas and advising on risk mitigation.

• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with culturally diverse teams.

• Ability to draft compliance documentation, training material, and internal reports.
