Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a skilled and innovative Shopify Developer to join our remote e-commerce team. As a Shopify Developer, you will play a critical role in building, customizing, and maintaining Shopify stores for a range of clients across industries. You will work closely with designers, marketers, and project managers to deliver seamless and scalable online shopping experiences. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy responsive Shopify websites and applications.

• Customize Shopify themes and implement third-party apps and APIs.

• Create custom Shopify apps and scripts as needed.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues related to Shopify storefronts and back-end.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement web solutions.

• Optimize websites for performance, SEO, and mobile usability.

• Ensure clean, scalable, and well-documented code is written and maintained.

• Stay updated on Shopify best practices and new platform features.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

• Experience with Shopify APIs, webhooks, and app development.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party app integrations.

• Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.

• Version control experience (e.g., Git or GitHub).

• Basic knowledge of SEO and web performance optimization.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Shopify development.

• Prior experience working in a remote e-commerce or digital agency environment is preferred.

• Proven portfolio of Shopify projects (please include links or GitHub examples).

Working Hours

• Flexible working hours with core availability between 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM EST for team sync-ups.

• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
