The Elite Job is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Remote QA Tester - Manual (Entry-Level) to join our growing team. As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of web and mobile applications through manual testing processes. Key Responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications to identify bugs and usability issues.

• Report, document, and track software defects using tools such as JIRA or Trello.

• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and expected behavior.

• Validate fixes and perform regression testing to ensure overall system integrity.

• Participate in test planning, estimation, and status meetings.

• Provide clear feedback on usability and user experience issues.

• Maintain accurate and detailed testing documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and testing concepts.

• Strong attention to detail with an analytical mindset.

• Ability to follow instructions and execute test cases thoroughly.

• Proficient in using web browsers and mobile devices for testing.

• Good communication and documentation skills.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.) is a plus.

Experience

• No professional experience required; freshers are welcome.

• Internship or academic project experience in software testing is a bonus.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday

• Flexible working hours (typically 6–8 hours per day based on project needs)

• Occasional weekend availability during release phases may be requested

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Willingness to learn and grow within the QA domain.

• Understanding of different types of testing (functional, regression, smoke, etc.).

• Ability to think from a users perspective.

• Comfortable working with remote teams across multiple time zones.

• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or any programming language is a plus but not mandatory.
