This role is critical in the healthcare revenue cycle, involving the accurate conversion of medical diagnoses, procedures, and services into universal alphanumeric codes. Key Responsibilities

• Accurately review and analyze patient records and documents for proper coding.

• Assign standard ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for medical diagnoses, procedures, and services.

• Ensure all coding meets regulatory and compliance guidelines.

• Collaborate with medical professionals to clarify unclear information or discrepancies.

• Maintain confidentiality and security of patient records.

• Meet daily productivity and accuracy standards.

• Stay updated with the latest coding guidelines and industry changes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Nursing, Pharmacy, or related field.

• Basic understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Strong attention to detail and analytical ability.

• Good communication skills (verbal and written).

• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Experience

• Freshers are welcome to apply – comprehensive training will be provided.

• Experienced medical coders (1–3 years) will be considered for senior or specialized roles with higher compensation.

Working Hours

• Full-Time, 5 Days a Week

• Flexible Shifts (Day/Evening/Night shifts based on project and location)

• Work-from-office (Hybrid options available for experienced candidates)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Understanding of medical records and clinical documentation.

• Knowledge of medical coding systems like ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS.
