The Elite Job is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Engineer (Remote) to join our dynamic and growing team. This role is essential in building and optimizing our data pipelines and data architecture to support advanced analytics, business intelligence, and scalable data solutions. As a Data Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain robust data infrastructure that ensures the integrity, availability, and security of critical data assets across the company.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data integration workflows from various internal and external sources.
Build and optimize data systems and architecture to support business operations and analytical needs.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to support data-related initiatives and ensure delivery of high-quality solutions.
Create and maintain documentation related to data models, data dictionaries, and workflow processes.
Implement best practices for data security, integrity, and compliance.
Monitor and troubleshoot issues within the data pipelines and proactively improve system performance.
Automate manual data processes and continuously optimize workflows for efficiency and scalability.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python, Scala, or Java.
Strong experience in building and maintaining data pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow, Apache Spark, Kafka, or similar.
Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as AWS (Redshift, S3, Glue), Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and performance tuning.
Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
2+ years of professional experience in a data engineering or similar role.
Proven track record in handling large-scale data processing and cloud-based data ecosystems.
Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus.
Flexible working hours with core collaboration time between 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (your local time).
Fully remote – work from anywhere in the world with reliable internet access.
Strong analytical thinking and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
