Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Backend Developer to join our dynamic tech team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems that support our digital infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain server-side applications using modern backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, etc.).

• Build and optimize APIs, database schemas, and backend services that support front-end functionality.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.

• Ensure the responsiveness, reliability, and security of applications and services.

• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems and perform performance tuning when necessary.

• Document system architecture, design decisions, and application code.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, Ruby).

• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.

• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and version control (Git).

• Knowledge of security best practices in software development.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in backend development.

• Experience in building and deploying scalable web applications.

• Prior experience in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.

Working Hours

• Full-Time Role (40 hours/week)

• Flexible working hours with core collaboration time between 10 AM – 4 PM (in your local time zone).
