Progressive Technology is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Remote Data Reporting Assistant to support our data operations and reporting initiatives. This role is ideal for candidates who have strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, and are passionate about transforming data into meaningful insights that drive business performance. The successful candidate will work remotely and collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce accurate, timely, and visually appealing data reports.
Collect, compile, and organize data from multiple sources.
Create, update, and maintain daily/weekly/monthly reports in Excel and Google Sheets.
Develop and manage dashboards and trackers for internal reporting needs.
Identify inconsistencies, clean datasets, and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Assist in analyzing data trends and providing actionable insights to departments.
Automate repetitive reporting tasks using formulas and built-in functions.
Coordinate with internal teams to gather requirements and customize reports accordingly.
Document processes, reporting templates, and data flow guidelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to report generation and data accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Charts, Conditional Formatting, IF statements, etc.).
Strong command of Google Sheets, including formulas, filters, data validation, and collaboration features.
Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to organize and manage multiple data sets efficiently.
Effective communication skills to interact with remote teams.
Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new tools and platforms quickly.
1–3 years of experience in a data entry, reporting, or administrative support role preferred.
Freshers with strong Excel/Google Sheets skills are encouraged to apply.
Previous remote work experience is a plus.
Flexible working hours (Choose between Part-Time or Full-Time).
Core availability required between 9 AM to 1 PM EST (for team check-ins and reporting deadlines).
Ability to meet turnaround times for daily/weekly deliverables.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Familiarity with basic data visualization practices.
Willingness to take feedback and continuously improve.
