Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on tax planning and strategies for businesses and individuals.

• Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring full compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.

• Conduct thorough research on complex tax matters and assist clients in tax planning.

• Advise clients on tax-efficient strategies and identify opportunities to reduce their tax liabilities.

• Keep clients informed about relevant tax legislation changes and ensure they understand the impact on their business or personal finances.

• Liaise with government agencies regarding tax audits, appeals, and other tax-related matters.

• Assist with the development and implementation of tax strategies to enhance clients financial positions.

• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation of all tax filings and communications.

• Provide training and guidance to junior tax staff, if applicable.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Professional tax certification (e.g., CPA, Chartered Tax Advisor) is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of tax laws, both national and international, as applicable.

• Excellent understanding of tax software and MS Excel for analysis and reporting.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to communicate complex tax concepts in a clear and understandable manner.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with clients and colleagues.

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tax consulting or a similar role, with a demonstrated ability to work with a diverse range of clients.

• Experience in preparing and reviewing tax returns for businesses and individuals.

• Experience in handling tax audits and resolving tax-related disputes is a plus.

• Knowledge of corporate tax structures and international tax matters is desirable.

• Familiarity with current tax trends and regulations.

Working Hours

• Full-time position.

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

• Flexibility in working hours is available to accommodate client schedules.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws.

• Proficient in tax software (e.g., QuickBooks, TurboTax) and MS Office Suite.

• Strong understanding of tax planning strategies, tax compliance, and financial reporting.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
