Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a dynamic and experienced Freelance HR Consultant to join our network of professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Assist with talent acquisition efforts such as job description creation, interview scheduling, and candidate evaluation.

• Advise on employee relations matters, conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, and performance management.

• Support organizational development initiatives including training and development programs, succession planning, and engagement strategies.

• Conduct HR audits and provide recommendations to ensure clients are compliant with local labor laws and industry standards.

• Serve as a thought partner to leadership teams, offering strategic HR insights to align people practices with business goals.

• Create and implement employee handbooks, HR documentation, and process improvements tailored to each clients needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple client projects simultaneously.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders.

• In-depth knowledge of labor laws, HR trends, and best practices.

• Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

• Proficiency with remote collaboration tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Slack, and cloud-based HR software.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, with at least 2 years in an advisory or consultancy role.

• Experience supporting businesses of various sizes and industries is highly desirable.

• Exposure to remote work environments and a proven ability to operate autonomously in virtual settings.
