Job Summary:

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud BI Engineer with expertise in Snowflake and Power BI integration. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in transforming and visualizing data through cloud-based Business Intelligence solutions. This position is ideal for professionals who have a strong background in cloud data platforms, BI tools, and have a passion for optimizing data processes to drive business decisions.

You will be responsible for working closely with clients to design, develop, and implement data pipelines, integration strategies, and BI reports that ensure data is presented in a meaningful and impactful way. The role demands collaboration, problem-solving, and deep technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement data integration solutions between Snowflake and Power BI to ensure efficient data reporting and analysis.

• Develop complex SQL queries and stored procedures within Snowflake to support BI reporting and analytics.

• Create and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations for diverse business needs.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines to ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Conduct data quality assessments to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

• Stay updated with emerging BI trends and technologies to continuously improve processes and integrations.

• Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and clients on data-related matters.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in BI development and integration, specifically with Snowflake and Power BI.

• Proficient in SQL, with a strong understanding of data modeling and data transformation.

• Strong experience in data warehousing, ETL processes, and integration tools.

• Expertise in developing and managing Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations.

• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, specifically AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Experience:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working as a BI Engineer, Data Engineer, or similar role.

• Hands-on experience in Snowflake data warehouse and Power BI integration.

• Experience in working with large datasets and performance tuning of cloud-based data solutions.

• Previous experience in developing end-to-end BI solutions in a cloud environment is highly preferred.

Working Hours:

• Full-time position, with flexible work hours and remote work options.

• Occasional weekend or evening hours may be required depending on project deadlines.

• In-depth knowledge of Snowflake architecture, ETL processes, and optimization techniques.
