Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Software Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.

• System Design & Architecture: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and efficient software architectures.

• Innovation: Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools, including investigating new technologies and methodologies.

• Code Quality & Maintenance: Write clean, maintainable code and follow best practices for code reviews, unit testing, and debugging.

• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to create solutions that meet customer needs and enhance the user experience.

• Troubleshooting: Proactively identify and resolve complex software issues in production environments to ensure seamless performance.

• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation for software systems, features, and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• Programming Languages: Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, C++, Python, or similar languages.

• Software Development: Solid understanding of software development principles, algorithms, and data structures.

• Experience with Distributed Systems: Knowledge of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies.

• Version Control: Experience using version control systems such as Git.

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical problems.

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Portuguese language skills are a plus.

Experience

• Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on software development experience in a professional setting.

• Project Involvement: Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments and contributing to all stages of the software development lifecycle.

• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with AWS (Amazon Web Services) or other cloud platforms is a significant advantage.

• Database Experience: Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases.

Working Hours

• Flexible working hours that allow you to work from anywhere in Brazil.

• Full-time position with occasional on-call or weekend shifts, depending on project needs.
