Progressive Technology is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Full-Time Quality Engineer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will ensure the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process. As a Quality Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and improving quality assurance systems, conducting root cause analyses, and implementing corrective actions to ensure our products consistently meet industry standards and customer requirements.
Develop and implement quality assurance processes and controls to ensure product consistency and adherence to specifications.
Conduct inspections, tests, and audits to ensure quality standards are being met at all stages of production.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and management teams to resolve quality issues and improve product quality.
Analyze production data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Prepare and maintain detailed reports on quality metrics, audit results, and non-conformance issues.
Perform root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques for product defects or quality failures.
Support the design and implementation of corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurring quality issues.
Assist in training and educating production staff on quality standards and best practices.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering preferred) or related field.
Proven experience in a quality assurance or quality engineering role in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS), including ISO 9001 and other industry-specific standards.
Proficiency in quality tools and techniques such as FMEA, SPC, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality engineering or quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience with inspection tools and techniques.
Experience in implementing and maintaining quality management systems.
Experience working with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Occasional overtime may be required depending on production schedules and project deadlines.
Deep knowledge of quality management systems, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.
Ability to conduct quality audits and create audit reports.
Strong knowledge of data analysis tools and statistical methods to evaluate production processes.
Ability to implement quality improvement initiatives and monitor their effectiveness.
Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
