Job Summary:

Progressive Technology is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our manufacturing team. This is an immediate opening for an individual who is passionate about ensuring product quality and enhancing operational efficiency. The QA Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the quality control processes, identifying areas of improvement, and ensuring that manufacturing standards are adhered to across all stages of production. This role is integral to ensuring that products meet the required standards of excellence and that manufacturing processes are optimized for peak performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance Oversight: Lead the development and implementation of quality control procedures, ensuring they meet company and industry standards.

• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement in quality, cost, and efficiency.

• Inspection and Testing: Conduct regular quality inspections and testing to verify that products meet specifications.

• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including inspection results, defect tracking, and corrective actions taken.

• Collaboration: Work closely with production teams to address quality concerns and provide training on quality standards.

• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve product quality issues, recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

• Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry certifications.

• Audit Participation: Assist with internal and external audits and ensure adherence to required compliance protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control, specifically in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and other quality management systems.

• Proficiency with quality control tools such as SPC, Six Sigma, FMEA, and root cause analysis.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work cross-functionally.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Assurance Engineer role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.

• Proven track record of implementing quality improvement initiatives that resulted in measurable improvements.

• Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and production processes.

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.

Working Hours:

• Full-time position, with a standard workweek of 40 hours.

• Flexible working hours may be offered depending on project timelines and manufacturing schedules.
