Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor quality control processes for manufacturing operations.

• Perform root cause analysis of product quality issues and collaborate with teams to implement corrective actions.

• Conduct product inspections and audits to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.

• Analyze data from quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.

• Work closely with the production team to ensure that manufacturing processes meet quality standards and are consistently optimized.

• Assist in the development and maintenance of quality standards and procedures.

• Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

• Provide training and guidance on quality standards to employees and production teams.

• Ensure timely reporting of quality issues to management and stakeholders.

• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality consistency throughout the supply chain.

• Support product testing and validation activities to ensure product reliability and safety.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience in a manufacturing quality role, preferably in a similar industry.

• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies, including ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing principles.

• Proficient in the use of quality tools and software (e.g., SPC, Minitab, AutoCAD, or similar).

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues promptly.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members, suppliers, and management.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement and excellence.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality engineering role.

• Experience with quality management systems, process improvements, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience with data analysis, quality audits, and performance metrics.

• Familiarity with industry regulations and certifications related to manufacturing quality standards.

Working Hours

• Full-time position with standard working hours of 40 hours per week.

• Flexibility in work hours may be required depending on the project needs or production schedules.

• Occasional overtime may be necessary to meet deadlines or resolve urgent quality issues.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control techniques, and regulatory compliance.

• Advanced skills in data analysis, statistical process control (SPC), and continuous improvement techniques.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to assess and troubleshoot manufacturing processes.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software is a plus.
