As a QA Analyst Intern, you will work closely with experienced QA professionals and development teams to ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of digital products and services. This internship provides foundational exposure to QA methodologies, tools, and best practices, and is designed to groom future full-time QA analysts.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements.

  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify, document, and track bugs using appropriate tools.

  • Perform manual and automated testing across multiple platforms (web, mobile, desktop).

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA process.

  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

  • Report defects with clear and concise steps to reproduce and track them through resolution.

  • Support regression testing and perform validation during product releases.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree (or currently completing final semester) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Strong interest in software testing and quality assurance practices.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA processes.


Experience

  • No prior professional experience required.

  • Familiarity with QA concepts and testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, Postman) is a plus.

  • Relevant academic projects or internships will be considered as added advantages.


Working Hours

  • 20–30 hours per week (flexible schedule to accommodate study/work-life balance).

  • Potential for full-time offer upon successful completion of the internship.

  • Duration: 3–6 months with possible extension or transition into a permanent role.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the software QA domain.

  • Strong time management and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools.

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Basic coding or scripting knowledge is a bonus but not required.
