Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Manual QA Analyst to join our fast-growing team in the e-commerce space. In this remote role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the delivery of high-quality digital products by conducting meticulous manual testing across our platforms. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and designers to identify bugs, document findings, and ensure exceptional user experiences for our global customer base.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute detailed manual test cases for web and mobile e-commerce platforms.

• Identify, document, and track bugs using standard bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and replicate issues.

• Perform regression, integration, and exploratory testing to uncover defects.

• Review requirements and design documentation to ensure test coverage.

• Maintain and update test documentation, including test plans, cases, and reports.

• Proactively contribute to improving QA processes, tools, and best practices.

• Validate new features and functionalities before product releases.

• Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-deployment verifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.

• Proficiency in test case design, execution, and documentation.

• Familiarity with bug tracking systems like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar tools.

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in manual software quality assurance, preferably in the e-commerce industry.

• Experience testing e-commerce platforms, including shopping carts, payment gateways, and customer journeys, is highly desirable.

• Exposure to agile/scrum methodologies is a plus.

Working Hours

• Full-time remote position.

• Flexible working hours with overlap required for team stand-ups and sprint reviews (typically within 9 AM – 5 PM EST window).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• In-depth knowledge of web and mobile testing strategies.

• Ability to think like an end-user and anticipate potential issues.

• Strong organizational skills and a proactive mindset.

• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript is a bonus.
