Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces for painting and decorating by cleaning, sanding, and applying undercoats or primers.

  • Mix and match paint colors, using the right tools and techniques to achieve the desired finish.

  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.

  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area and tools throughout the project.

  • Work with a variety of surfaces such as wood, metal, plaster, and drywall.

  • Follow project specifications and client requirements meticulously.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a professional painter and decorator.

  • Familiarity with painting tools, equipment, and various surface preparation techniques.

  • Ability to follow design plans, blueprints, and technical instructions.

  • Attention to detail with a focus on high-quality results.

  • Basic English communication skills (oral and written).

  • Physically fit and capable of handling manual labor and prolonged periods of standing or climbing ladders.

  • Flexibility to work indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions.


Experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant professional painting and decorating experience.

  • Experience working on residential, commercial, or industrial projects is preferred.

  • Previous international work experience or multicultural team collaboration is an asset.


Working Hours

  • Full-time position: 40 hours per week

  • Work may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends depending on project needs.
