MNC JOBS INFO is currently hiring experienced and safety-focused Long Haul Truck Drivers to join our rapidly growing logistics team in Canada. This LMIA-approved position is open to both local and international candidates seeking long-term opportunities in Canadas dynamic transportation industry. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across provinces and cross-border routes while ensuring timely, secure, and compliant delivery of freight.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and drive long-haul trucks across Canadian provinces and the U.S. to transport goods and materials.

  • Plan trip logistics and obtain necessary documentation for transportation.

  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle systems, equipment, and accessories.

  • Ensure the security of cargo and maintain compliance with transportation laws and regulations.

  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.

  • Maintain communication with dispatchers and follow all scheduling requirements.

  • Adhere to company safety standards and traffic laws at all times.

  • Conduct minor repairs and perform routine maintenance as needed.

  • Assist in loading and unloading goods when required.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Valid Class 1/A (or equivalent) Commercial Drivers License.

  • Clean driving record with no major violations or suspensions.

  • Strong understanding of road safety regulations and transportation procedures.

  • Ability to navigate long distances using GPS and maps.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Basic mechanical knowledge for truck troubleshooting is an asset.

  • Fluent in English (verbal and written) – French is an advantage but not mandatory.


Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of long-haul truck driving experience preferred.

  • Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, or hazardous materials is an asset.

  • Familiarity with cross-border (Canada-US) routes is advantageous.


Working Hours

  • Full-time, permanent role.

  • Flexible hours based on route requirements.

  • Availability for night shifts, weekends, and extended stays on the road is expected.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • In-depth knowledge of Canadian and U.S. road networks, safety protocols, and DOT regulations.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong stress management and endurance for long hours on the road.

  • Capability to handle weather-related and logistical challenges during trips.
