Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a talented and creative Remote Video Editor to join our dynamic media production team. This is a fully remote position designed for professionals who excel in evening and night shifts and are passionate about storytelling through video. Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into polished, compelling videos suitable for various platforms including social media, websites, and client presentations.
• Collaborate closely with producers, content creators, and graphic designers to ensure seamless integration of visual and audio elements.
• Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining consistent quality.
• Apply color correction, audio enhancement, transitions, and motion graphics as needed to enhance video storytelling.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices to recommend fresh, creative approaches to editing.
• Optimize videos for different digital formats and platforms.
• Ensure all edited materials meet brand guidelines and client expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience with professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Solid understanding of video production workflows, file formats, and post-production processes.
• Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret creative briefs and client feedback effectively.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in video editing roles, preferably in a remote or freelance capacity.
• Portfolio showcasing a variety of video projects across different industries or formats (social media clips, corporate videos, advertisements, etc.).

Working Hours

• Flexible working hours with a focus on evening and night shifts to accommodate project deadlines and client time zones.
• Ability to manage your own schedule while meeting set deliverables and deadlines.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong creative and artistic skills with a keen eye for design and composition.
