Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is actively seeking skilled Plumbing & HVAC Technicians to join our growing team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and HVAC systems in residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects. Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and maintain plumbing and HVAC systems in new and existing construction projects.
• Diagnose and repair leaks, blockages, heating failures, ventilation issues, and air conditioning malfunctions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Assemble and install pipes, ducts, valves, and fittings according to project requirements.
• Conduct routine system maintenance to ensure functionality and efficiency.
• Test system performance and adjust settings for optimal operation.
• Comply with all safety regulations and building codes to ensure a secure working environment.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Plumbing & HVAC Technician in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, HVAC components, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and system diagrams.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and building codes.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Certification or training in plumbing and HVAC technology (preferred but not mandatory).

Experience

• Minimum: 2+ years of relevant experience in plumbing and HVAC installation, maintenance, or repair.
• Preferred: 5+ years of experience in a construction environment with advanced technical expertise.

Working Hours

• Full-time position with 8 to 10-hour shifts (Monday to Friday).
• Overtime and weekend work may be required based on project deadlines.
• On-call availability for emergency repairs (as needed).
