The Federal Highway Administration is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Control Inspector to join our team and ensure that all public works projects are completed to our standards. Responsibilities:
Monitor progress of public works construction projects to ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards set by the Federal Highway Administration.
Perform detailed inspections of construction sites and equipment to ensure that all safety requirements are met.
Ensure that all materials and methods used are of the highest quality.
Provide accurate and timely reports to management on the progress of construction projects.
Maintain up-to-date records of inspections and findings.
Create and enforce corrective action plans when needed to ensure compliance and safety.
Develop and implement procedures to ensure efficient and cost-effective project completion.
Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Ensure adherence to all applicable state and federal regulations.
Establish and maintain relationships with subcontractors and other stakeholders.
