Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a creative and talented UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while contributing to innovative projects in a collaborative environment. As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for designing intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and project requirements.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that align with project goals and brand guidelines.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and refine designs based on feedback.
• Develop design systems, style guides, and interactive components for consistency across projects.
• Optimize user interfaces for responsiveness and cross-platform compatibility.
• Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and techniques to enhance the user experience.
• Work closely with developers to ensure design feasibility and seamless implementation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile designs.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar software.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and usability.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end development processes is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and explain design decisions clearly.
• Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.

Experience

• 2+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design.
• Experience working in a remote or freelance environment is preferred.

Working Hours

• Flexible working hours with an expectation to attend virtual team meetings and collaborate during standard business hours (IST).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Creativity and innovation to develop unique design solutions.
• Ability to empathize with users and create designs that address their needs.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies is an advantage.
