Key Responsibilities

• Drive the auto rickshaw safely and efficiently to transport passengers to their destinations.
• Ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, performing regular checks for safety and cleanliness.
• Adhere to traffic rules and regulations to ensure passenger safety and avoid accidents.
• Greet passengers courteously and assist with loading and unloading luggage when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, including fare collection and mileage.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring passengers have a comfortable and pleasant journey.
• Report any vehicle issues or accidents immediately to the supervisor.
• Follow the assigned routes or take alternate routes based on traffic conditions.
• Ensure that the auto rickshaw is kept clean and presentable at all times.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as filling gas, oil checks, and ensuring proper tire pressure.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Valid driving license for an auto rickshaw in India.
• Proven experience as an auto rickshaw driver or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of local roads and traffic rules in Coimbatore.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to handle stressful situations with a calm and positive attitude.

Experience

• Previous experience as an auto rickshaw driver is preferred.

Working Hours
