Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Marine Logistics Coordinator to manage and oversee supply operations for our oil rig locations. This role will be essential in ensuring the timely and efficient movement of goods, equipment, and personnel to and from offshore platforms, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth logistical operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Logistics Coordination: Plan and coordinate the transportation of goods, equipment, and personnel to offshore oil rigs, ensuring all deliveries meet the required timelines.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available for operational use and avoid any shortages on the rigs.
• Vendor & Supplier Relations: Liaise with suppliers, shipping companies, and contractors to ensure cost-effective and timely transportation solutions.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all logistics activities comply with safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a secure environment for all personnel involved in operations.
• Route Optimization: Monitor and optimize shipping routes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness, considering weather conditions and operational schedules.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate shipping records and logistics documentation, including customs, permits, and any other relevant forms.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with operations, procurement, and rig managers to ensure the supply chain is functioning smoothly and any potential issues are addressed proactively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Marine Logistics Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in marine logistics or supply chain management, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with vendors, clients, and team members effectively.
• Knowledge of Maritime Regulations: Familiarity with international shipping regulations, maritime laws, and oil rig supply chain processes.
• Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of logistics management software, shipping tools, and Excel to track shipments and manage inventory.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to anticipate potential issues and develop solutions proactively to minimize disruptions.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy, especially regarding documentation, inventory management, and transportation schedules.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in marine logistics, preferably in an offshore oil and gas environment.

Working Hours:
