Job Summary:

As an Amazon Equipment Operator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of our fulfillment centers. You will be responsible for operating various types of warehouse equipment to facilitate the movement of goods and materials. Your ability to ensure safety, maintain equipment, and meet operational targets will directly impact our overall performance. Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain various equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery.
• Transport goods and materials safely within the facility and load/unload shipments.
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on equipment.
• Inspect and ensure proper functioning of machinery before use.
• Collaborate with warehouse team members to ensure inventory is handled efficiently.
• Meet productivity and performance goals while adhering to quality standards.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation related to equipment usage and maintenance.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including inventory control and order picking.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in equipment operation within a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
• Certification to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (if required by local laws).
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks as required.
• Basic computer skills for logging and tracking equipment usage and inventory.

Experience:

• Previous experience as an Equipment Operator or in a warehouse setting is highly desirable.
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced logistics environment is a plus.
• Previous experience with inventory management and order fulfillment processes will be an advantage.

Working Hours:

• Full-time position, with varying shifts depending on operational needs.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
• Possible night shifts or rotating shifts depending on location and demand.
