Job Summary

We are seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our Amazon team as Pickers. As a Picker, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our fulfillment centers. You will be responsible for selecting and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a high standard of customer service. Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently and accurately pick customer orders from shelves within the fulfillment center.
• Scan product barcodes and label packages as needed to ensure accurate tracking and shipping.
• Ensure the correct quantity and quality of items are picked for each order.
• Organize picked items for efficient packing and shipping.
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet Amazons quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the workspace.
• Assist in restocking inventory as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, using appropriate equipment to move products.
• Meet or exceed performance standards for speed and accuracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 49 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
• Basic understanding of English for communication and following instructions.
• Comfortable with the use of handheld scanning devices and other equipment.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center is preferred but not required.
• Experience with inventory management or order fulfillment is an asset.

Working Hours

• Full-time and part-time positions are available.
• Shifts may vary, including morning, evening, and weekend hours.
• Overtime opportunities may be available during peak seasons.
