Job Summary

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fulfillment Manager to lead and manage our fulfillment operations. This key leadership role is responsible for ensuring that Amazons world-class fulfillment standards are met and exceeded. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, operations, and people management, with a drive for continuous improvement and efficiency. You will oversee the daily operations of a fulfillment center, including managing a team of associates and ensuring the smooth operation of our fulfillment process.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the fulfillment center, including inventory management, order processing, and shipping logistics.
• Lead and motivate a team of fulfillment associates, supervisors, and managers, ensuring they work cohesively to meet operational targets.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Ensure the safety of associates by adhering to Amazons strict safety protocols and guidelines.
• Collaborate with other managers to resolve operational issues and implement best practices.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and develop career progression plans for team members.
• Manage staffing levels to ensure the fulfillment center operates smoothly and meets demand during peak times.
• Participate in the recruitment, training, and onboarding process for new team members.
• Innovate new systems and technologies to streamline operations, enhance productivity, and improve customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in fulfillment, operations management, or supply chain roles.
• Proven experience in managing large teams and cross-functional projects.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and warehouse management systems (WMS).

Experience

• 5+ years in fulfillment or warehouse management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in managing large-scale fulfillment operations and teams.
• Prior experience in managing inventory, order processing, and shipping operations within a fast-paced environment.

Working Hours

• Full-time position.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed based on operational requirements.
• Some travel may be required depending on the region or project.
