Job Summary
As an Amazon Logistics Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations within our Fulfillment and Delivery operations. This position is vital in overseeing logistics, coordinating shipments, managing delivery schedules, and collaborating with various teams to meet high standards of service and efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Logistics Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and manage delivery schedules and ensure timely shipment of goods from fulfillment centers to delivery locations.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory management and ensure accurate stock levels are maintained throughout the supply chain process.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including warehouse associates, fulfillment center managers, and delivery drivers, to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any operational issues that may arise during the fulfillment and delivery process, ensuring minimal disruption to customer satisfaction.
- Data Analysis: Utilize logistics software to monitor and analyze delivery performance and inventory levels. Provide regular reports and insights to senior management to support decision-making.
- Quality Control: Monitor and enforce quality standards throughout the logistics process, ensuring products are delivered in the best condition and on time.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Previous experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a similar role is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and senior management.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and adapt to challenges.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in logistics coordination, supply chain management, or operations within a high-volume environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects at once.
- Prior experience in e-commerce logistics or fulfillment operations is an advantage.
Working Hours
- Full-time position with flexible working hours, depending on the operational needs. You may be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to accommodate the business needs of Amazons global logistics network.
