Job Summary:
Delta Airlines is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as an Aviation Customer Relations Call Center Agent. This hybrid/part-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work remotely while providing exceptional service to our passengers. Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing support related to bookings, flight status, baggage claims, and general inquiries.
- Assist customers in resolving issues with bookings, cancellations, delays, and other travel-related concerns.
- Provide clear and accurate information regarding Delta Airlines services, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Deltas products, services, and industry changes to ensure accurate communication.
- Document customer interactions accurately in the CRM system to ensure follow-up actions are tracked.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Handle sensitive customer information in compliance with privacy and security regulations.
- Upsell services and products, such as seat upgrades, travel insurance, or Delta Sky Club memberships, when appropriate.
- Ensure all interactions meet Deltas customer service standards and adhere to quality metrics.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a clear, professional phone demeanor.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to stay calm under pressure.
- Ability to multitask and handle a high volume of customer inquiries while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with CRM systems, ticketing platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently, managing time effectively to meet customer needs.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing work schedules and customer demands.
- Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude when interacting with customers.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- Previous customer service experience is highly preferred, particularly in call centers, retail, or hospitality.
- Experience in the airline or travel industry is a plus but not required.
- Previous experience working remotely or in a hybrid work environment is an advantage.
Working Hours:
- This is a part-time, hybrid position with flexible working hours.
- Available to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as required to support customer needs.
