Job Summary:

HR Service Jobs is seeking an experienced and dynamic WordPress and PHP Developer to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
• Build custom PHP-based applications and features that integrate with WordPress.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration with WordPress themes.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across WordPress sites, applications, and servers.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code, following best practices for performance, security, and maintainability.
• Perform regular updates to WordPress websites, including plugins, themes, and core updates.
• Optimize websites for speed and performance, ensuring high levels of user satisfaction.
• Work closely with designers and clients to implement new features and functionality.
• Manage website migrations, backups, and security measures.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in web development and WordPress best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in WordPress, PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of WordPress architecture and core functions.
• Experience with popular WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery).
• Strong knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Ability to build custom themes and plugins in WordPress.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with responsive web design and mobile-first development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

Experience:

• A minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining WordPress websites and PHP applications.
• Proven experience with custom WordPress theme and plugin development.
• Experience with WooCommerce, BuddyPress, and other common WordPress plugins is a plus.
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Working Hours:

• Full-time, Monday to Friday (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM).
• Flexible working hours with the option to work remotely.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Deep understanding of WordPress theme development and custom plugin creation.
• Knowledge of MySQL databases and ability to write complex queries.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and optimization for search engines.
• Strong understanding of website security protocols and best practices.
• Experience with cloud services like AWS or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to suggest improvements in code and processes.
