Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior PHP Developer with expertise in CodeIgniter to join our dynamic development team. As a Senior PHP Developer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of web applications and solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative and scalable software solutions, ensuring high-quality standards and optimal user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using PHP and the CodeIgniter framework.
• Lead and mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support in coding best practices.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to company coding standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software applications.
• Ensure security and data protection in the development and deployment of applications.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure the delivery of high-quality code.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project timelines.
• Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a PHP Developer, with strong expertise in CodeIgniter framework.
• Proficiency in MySQL and database design.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and MVC architecture.
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
• Knowledge of web security standards and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a PHP Developer, with at least 2 years of experience specifically using CodeIgniter.
• Experience in working with large-scale web applications and managing end-to-end project lifecycles.
• Previous experience in mentoring or leading a team of developers is a plus.

Working Hours

• Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Flexibility in working hours, with opportunities for remote work.
