Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting with product inquiries, store navigation, and problem-solving.
- Maintain high standards of store presentation and ensure all products are well-stocked, labelled, and organised.
- Operate register systems, process transactions, and handle cash.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and contribute to achieving store goals.
- Participate in stocktaking and inventory management activities.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe shopping experience for customers and a safe working environment for all employees.
- Upsell and promote products, contributing to the achievement of store sales targets.
- Handle customer complaints and feedback with professionalism, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Take on additional tasks and projects as required to support the store and company operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Flexibility to work across various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
Experience:
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Experience in handling cash and working with a point-of-sale system is beneficial.
- On-the-job training will be provided to ensure all new hires are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary for success.
Working Hours:
- Full-time and part-time positions are available, with flexible hours across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
- Shifts will be allocated based on store requirements, and flexibility is required to meet the needs of the business.
