Key Responsibilities

• Handle, load, and unload baggage safely, ensuring adherence to airline and airport security protocols.


• Inspect baggage for damage, tag, and document lost or misplaced items with care and accuracy.


• Coordinate with airline staff, ramp agents, and airport authorities to ensure smooth baggage transfer between flights.


• Monitor baggage operations and report issues promptly to supervisors or airport security.


• Ensure compliance with safety and handling procedures to prevent accidents and equipment damage.


• Assist passengers with inquiries and provide courteous support regarding baggage-related concerns.


• Maintain clean and organized baggage handling areas and ensure proper usage of equipment such as trolleys and conveyor systems.


• Participate in training sessions and safety briefings to stay updated on airline regulations and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; further certification in logistics or aviation is a plus.


• Strong physical fitness and stamina to perform manual handling tasks efficiently.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with passengers and airport staff.


• Ability to operate baggage handling equipment and technology systems with precision.


• Knowledge of airport security protocols and adherence to safety procedures.


• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.


• Basic computer skills for tracking baggage operations and reporting.

Experience

• Prior experience in airline ground operations, baggage handling, logistics, or airport support services is highly desirable.

Working Hours

• Rotational shifts covering early morning, evening, and night operations to support 24/7 airport services.
