Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Intern to support our NGO office’s daily operations. This role offers hands-on experience in nonprofit administration, event coordination, data management, and donor communications. Key Responsibilities



  • Assist in managing office operations, scheduling meetings, and maintaining records.

  • Support data entry, documentation, and filing processes to ensure smooth workflow.

  • Coordinate internal communications and assist in drafting reports, newsletters, and other correspondence.

  • Help organize events, workshops, and fundraising campaigns, including logistics and volunteer management.

  • Maintain donor databases, track contributions, and assist in preparing reports for stakeholders.

  • Support team members in project tracking, follow-ups, and task prioritization.

  • Handle basic administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, managing emails, and assisting visitors.

  • Ensure the office space is well-organized and supplies are adequately stocked.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing one in Business Administration, Social Work, Public Policy, or related fields.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar tools.

  • Ability to work independently while being a supportive team member.

  • Basic knowledge of record-keeping, reporting, and office management procedures.

  • A passion for nonprofit work and community service.




Experience



  • Prior internship or volunteer experience in administration, events, or nonprofit work is a plus but not mandatory.

  • Exposure to project coordination, data management, or donor relations will be an advantage.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.




Working Hours



  • Flexible working hours depending on project requirements.

  • 20–30 hours per week, with potential for increased involvement based on performance and availability.

  • Some weekend or evening work may be required during special events or campaigns.
