ReliefFlow DK is a mission-driven non-governmental organization dedicated to providing humanitarian relief, essential supplies, and crisis support to vulnerable communities worldwide. We are seeking a highly motivated and organized NGO Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth procurement, transportation, and distribution of supplies and resources in both emergency and routine operations. This position requires exceptional coordination skills, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering timely and efficient logistical support to impacted regions.


The NGO Logistics Coordinator will work closely with program managers, suppliers, field teams, and local partners to ensure that operations are streamlined, compliant with safety standards, and aligned with the organization’s mission to deliver relief where it’s needed most.




Key Responsibilities



  • Plan, coordinate, and manage supply chain activities including procurement, transportation, storage, and distribution of relief materials.

  • Work closely with field teams to assess logistical needs and ensure timely support to emergency and non-emergency operations.

  • Identify and engage with suppliers, transporters, and warehousing partners while negotiating favorable terms.

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize cost, efficiency, and delivery timelines.

  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records for tracking materials and supplies.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational, donor, and regulatory requirements including safety and environmental guidelines.

  • Conduct risk assessments and establish contingency plans to address unforeseen disruptions.

  • Support coordination between internal teams, partner organizations, and local authorities.

  • Prepare and present logistics reports, forecasts, and operational insights to senior management.

  • Provide guidance and training to field staff and logistics teams on best practices and systems usage.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

  • At least 3–5 years of experience in logistics, preferably in an NGO, humanitarian, or development context.

  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, transportation planning, and warehouse management.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.

  • Proficient in logistics software and inventory management tools.

  • Ability to work in high-pressure environments and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with diverse teams.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing conditions.




Experience



  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in logistics coordination, supply chain management, or related field.

  • Experience working in humanitarian relief, emergency response, or development projects is highly desirable.

  • Proven track record of managing end-to-end logistics operations.

  • Experience with donor reporting and compliance frameworks is a plus.




Working Hours



  • Full-time position with flexibility depending on field requirements.

  • May require occasional weekend or evening work during emergencies or high-demand periods.

  • Remote coordination with periodic field visits as required.
