Job Summary


MediTrack Denmark is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Records Data Entry professional to join our team. As a vital part of our healthcare information management unit, you will be responsible for accurately inputting, organizing, and maintaining patient medical records in compliance with data privacy regulations and healthcare standards. This role is ideal for individuals who are meticulous, technologically adept, and passionate about supporting healthcare delivery through efficient data management. You will collaborate with medical staff, administrative teams, and data governance specialists to ensure timely and precise documentation of patient information, contributing to improved healthcare outcomes and organizational efficiency.




Key Responsibilities



  • Accurately enter patient medical records, treatment histories, lab results, and other healthcare documentation into digital systems.

  • Review and verify incoming medical documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with healthcare standards.

  • Organize, categorize, and maintain electronic health records ensuring data integrity and easy retrieval.

  • Ensure data security by following organizational protocols and regulatory frameworks such as GDPR and HIPAA (where applicable).

  • Work closely with healthcare providers, billing teams, and medical coding experts to clarify data discrepancies.

  • Generate reports as required by management or clinical teams to support patient care and operational planning.

  • Assist in data audits and quality assurance processes to ensure records meet compliance requirements.

  • Stay updated on healthcare documentation standards and data entry tools to continuously improve workflow efficiency.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in healthcare administration or medical coding are a plus.

  • Proven experience in data entry or administrative roles, preferably within healthcare or related sectors.

  • Strong typing speed (minimum 40 words per minute) with high accuracy.

  • Familiarity with medical terminology, patient documentation, and healthcare record management systems.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry software.




Experience



  • 1–3 years of experience in medical records management, healthcare data entry, or similar roles preferred.

  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms is advantageous.

  • Prior exposure to medical coding standards like ICD-10 or CPT coding is a bonus.




Working Hours



  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday.

  • Standard working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (flexible schedules may be accommodated based on operational needs).

  • Opportunities for part-time or remote shifts may be available depending on project requirements.
