Key Responsibilities



  • Respond to patient inquiries via phone, email, and chat with empathy and professionalism.

  • Provide accurate information regarding healthcare services, insurance processes, and appointment scheduling.

  • Assist patients with appointment booking, cancellations, rescheduling, and follow-ups.

  • Resolve patient concerns and complaints, ensuring a positive experience and patient satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with medical staff and other departments to streamline patient communication and support workflows.

  • Maintain patient records and ensure all interactions are documented following data protection guidelines.

  • Identify opportunities to improve patient experience and report trends or challenges to management.

  • Uphold healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards, including HIPAA compliance where applicable.


Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, communication, or a related field preferred.

  • Proven experience in customer support, preferably within healthcare, insurance, or related services.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Danish or other languages is an advantage.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

  • Empathetic and patient-focused approach with a high degree of professionalism.

  • Proficient in CRM systems, appointment scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.


Experience



  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or support roles, preferably in a healthcare setting.

  • Experience working with sensitive health-related data and maintaining patient confidentiality is highly valued.

  • Familiarity with healthcare software systems and telehealth platforms is a plus.


Working Hours



  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week.

  • Rotational shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends to ensure 24/7 support coverage.

  • Hybrid option available depending on role requirements and performance.
