Job Summary
HeartHelp Canada is seeking a passionate and results-driven Fundraising Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is central to driving our mission of supporting communities through impactful programs and initiatives. The Fundraising Coordinator will develop, implement, and manage innovative fundraising strategies to maximize donor engagement and revenue generation. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee fundraising strategies, campaigns, and events to meet organizational goals.
- Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners.
- Coordinate donor communications, including newsletters, appeals, and recognition programs.
- Manage fundraising events from planning through execution, ensuring they align with HeartHelp Canada’s mission and values.
- Prepare and maintain fundraising reports, budgets, and performance metrics for senior management.
- Collaborate with marketing, communications, and program teams to create compelling campaigns that inspire support.
- Research and pursue new funding opportunities, grants, and partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant fundraising regulations and ethical standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
- Strong understanding of fundraising principles, donor relations, and nonprofit operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, donor management software, and CRM systems.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate in fundraising approaches.
Experience
- Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in fundraising, donor management, or nonprofit development.
- Experience coordinating fundraising campaigns, events, or grant proposals is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in donor cultivation, retention, and revenue growth.
Working Hours
- Full-time role with standard working hours, Monday to Friday.
- Flexibility required for evening or weekend events and campaigns as needed.
