Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting while promoting independence and dignity.

• Support residents with mobility, exercise routines, and physical therapy programs as directed by healthcare professionals.


• Assist in administering prescribed medication under supervision and ensure adherence to care plans.


• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, encouraging social interactions and participation in activities.


• Maintain accurate records of care provided, including observations, incidents, and daily routines.


• Ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic environment by following infection control procedures and care home protocols.


• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic, person-centered care.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification as a Nursing Assistant or Healthcare Assistant is preferred.


• Basic understanding of healthcare principles and patient care techniques.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with residents, families, and staff members.


• Ability to follow care plans, medical instructions, and safety protocols.


• Patience, empathy, and a compassionate approach to caregiving.


• Organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.


• Proficiency in basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.

Experience

• Prior experience in a healthcare setting, care home, or hospital is preferred but not mandatory.


• Experience working with elderly or vulnerable populations is an added advantage.

Working Hours

• Full-time and part-time positions available.


• Rotational shifts covering mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
