Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Public Health Coordinator to join our team and support public health initiatives by developing, implementing, and evaluating programs that promote health awareness and disease prevention. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and implement community health programs aimed at disease prevention, health promotion, and education.
- Collaborate with public health agencies, hospitals, non-profits, and government bodies to align program objectives with community needs.
- Conduct needs assessments, data collection, and program evaluations to measure effectiveness and suggest improvements.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and training sessions for healthcare providers and community members.
- Prepare reports, proposals, and presentations to secure funding and partnerships.
- Stay updated with public health policies, guidelines, and emerging trends to ensure programs are evidence-based.
- Support crisis response efforts, including public health emergencies and outbreaks, by coordinating logistics and communication.
- Engage with diverse populations to ensure inclusive and culturally sensitive health interventions.
- Monitor budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure efficient program delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Social Work, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in health program management, public health outreach, or community development.
- Strong knowledge of health systems, policy frameworks, and preventive care strategies.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, reporting software, and public health databases.
- Experience in grant writing and partnership development is an asset.
- Ability to build rapport and maintain trust with community members and stakeholders.
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in public health coordination, community health initiatives, or program implementation.
- Experience working with government agencies, NGOs, or healthcare providers is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in organizing large-scale community health events or campaigns.
Working Hours
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
- Flexibility required for evening or weekend events and emergency responses.
- Hybrid work environment with periodic in-office collaboration sessions.
