Job Summary


PureCare Medical is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Pediatric Care to join our dedicated healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nursing care to children of all ages, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met. You will work closely with pediatricians, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, family-centered care in a supportive and safe environment.




Key Responsibilities



  • Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients, including administering medications, vaccinations, and treatments.

  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, recording vital signs, symptoms, and medical history accurately.

  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans.

  • Educate families on child health, nutrition, disease prevention, and post-treatment care.

  • Support children and their families emotionally during hospital visits or treatments.

  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, protocols, and infection control standards.

  • Assist in pediatric procedures and interventions, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

  • Participate in continuous education and professional development to stay updated with pediatric nursing best practices.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the relevant state or country.

  • Certification in Pediatric Nursing preferred.

  • Strong clinical knowledge in pediatric healthcare, growth, and development.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and families.

  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently in high-pressure or emergency situations.

  • Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.




Experience



  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric nursing or related healthcare settings preferred.

  • Experience in hospital, clinic, or outpatient pediatric care is an advantage.




Working Hours



  • Full-time position with flexible shifts, including day, evening, and weekend rotations.

  • On-call availability may be required depending on patient needs.

  • Comprehensive understanding of child health, immunizations, and common pediatric illnesses.

  • Ability to educate and communicate effectively with children and their families.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple patients simultaneously.
