Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency in all operations. Key Responsibilities



  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in accordance with national and local codes.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and manuals to understand wiring layouts and system requirements.

  • Conduct routine inspections and tests to ensure electrical systems are functioning properly and safely.

  • Diagnose malfunctions and perform corrective actions, including replacement of faulty parts and rewiring where necessary.

  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company protocols, proactively identifying and mitigating potential hazards.

  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other trades to complete projects on time and within budget.

  • Document work performed, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports for management and clients.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior electricians and apprentices.

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices to enhance operational efficiency.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Proven experience as an Electrician in industrial, commercial, or residential settings.

  • Completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent certification.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, wiring, and safety procedures.

  • Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with electrical testing instruments and tools.

  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks at heights and in confined spaces.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Valid electrical license or certification as required by local regulations.




Experience



  • Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in electrical installation and maintenance.

  • Experience working on large-scale projects or in high-risk environments is a plus.

  • Prior exposure to energy-efficient and renewable electrical systems is desirable but not mandatory.




Working Hours



  • Full-time role, Monday to Saturday.

  • Standard work hours: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (flexibility required depending on project demands).

  • Occasional overtime may be required, with appropriate compensation.

  • On-call duties during emergency situations may apply.
