Job Summary
PixelLogic Labs is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Assurance Tester – Software to join our dynamic team. As a key contributor to our product development lifecycle, you will be responsible for ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and user experience. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify bugs, improve performance, and enhance overall product reliability. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and technical requirements.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using industry-standard tools.
- Perform various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Collaborate with software developers to ensure issues are clearly communicated and resolved effectively.
- Review requirements and provide feedback to improve product quality from early development stages.
- Analyze test results and provide reports with actionable insights for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with coding and design standards, security protocols, and best practices.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospective meetings to provide QA perspectives.
- Continuously refine and improve test processes and automation strategies.
- Support cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, or equivalent).
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to communicate complex issues clearly with technical and non-technical teams.
- High attention to detail and a passion for delivering quality products.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.) is a plus.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance or testing.
- Experience in testing web and/or mobile applications.
- Prior exposure to automation testing frameworks is preferred.
- Experience in Agile development environments is highly desirable.
Working Hours
- Full-time position with standard working hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
- Flexibility may be required during product releases and critical deadlines.
