Job Summary:


HealthPlus Pharma, a leading name in healthcare and retail pharmacy services, is seeking a dedicated and motivated Pharmacy Assistant to join our retail team. The Pharmacy Assistant will support pharmacists in delivering high-quality customer service, ensuring the accurate dispensing of medications, and maintaining a well-organized and compliant pharmacy environment. Key Responsibilities:



  • Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently.

  • Provide friendly and professional customer service, including answering queries on medications, OTC products, and health-related information.

  • Maintain inventory levels, manage stock rotation, and ensure timely replenishment of products.

  • Prepare and label medications according to standard procedures.

  • Handle cash registers, process transactions, and maintain accurate sales records.

  • Ensure the pharmacy complies with all legal, regulatory, and company standards.

  • Support health awareness initiatives and promotional campaigns within the store.

  • Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, record-keeping, and reporting.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy and retail area.




Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalent; certificate/diploma in pharmacy assistance is an advantage.

  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, prescription procedures, and over-the-counter medications.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and healthcare professionals.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling medications and customer orders.

  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and inventory management systems.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.




Experience:



  • 1–2 years of experience in a retail pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Experience with pharmacy management software and POS systems is an added advantage.




Working Hours:



  • Full-time position: 8–9 hours per day, including weekends on a rotational basis.

  • Flexibility to work during peak hours, holidays, and special promotions as needed.
