Job Summary BuildSmart Ltd, a leading name in the construction and infrastructure sector, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager – Construction to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role demands strong leadership, strategic planning, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with multiple stakeholders including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies. As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth, maintaining quality standards, and implementing innovative solutions in construction management.




Key Responsibilities



  • Lead, plan, and execute construction projects from pre-construction through to completion.

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.

  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project delivery.

  • Monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to timelines and specifications.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with regulations.

  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential setbacks.

  • Prepare detailed project reports, presentations, and documentation for senior management and stakeholders.

  • Ensure procurement processes are aligned with project requirements and company policies.

  • Mentor and guide junior staff, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven environment.

  • Engage with clients to understand their requirements, provide updates, and resolve concerns promptly.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD).

  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.

  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and commitment to quality.




Experience



  • Minimum of 5–7 years of proven experience in construction project management.

  • Experience managing large-scale residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.

  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

  • Experience in cost estimation, scheduling, and procurement.




Working Hours



  • Full-time position with standard working hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

  • Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet project deadlines or address site emergencies.
