Position: Statistical Forecast Analyst – Home Depot


Location: Multiple U.S. Locations / Hybrid (per company policy)


Employment Type: Full-Time


Experience: 2–4 Years in Forecasting, Data Analysis, or Supply Chain Analytics


Salary Range: $75,000–$92,000 per year + Bonus + Benefits




Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and maintain statistical models to forecast product demand across categories and regions

  • Analyze sales history, seasonal trends, promotional impacts, and market factors to improve forecast accuracy

  • Partner with supply chain, merchandising, and inventory planning teams to align forecasts with business goals

  • Monitor forecast performance, identify variances, and recommend adjustments

  • Use BI tools and visualization dashboards to communicate forecasts and insights to stakeholders

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of forecasting processes, tools, and data quality

  • Support cross-functional initiatives to optimize stock levels and reduce out-of-stock situations




Qualifications & Eligibility:



  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Supply Chain, or related field

  • Proficiency in R, Python, or SAS for statistical modeling and analysis

  • Strong skills in Excel and SQL; experience with forecasting software preferred

  • Familiarity with retail demand planning and inventory management concepts

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative retail environment
