Position: Statistical Forecast Analyst – Home Depot

Location: Multiple U.S. Locations / Hybrid (per company policy)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience: 2–4 Years in Forecasting, Data Analysis, or Supply Chain Analytics

Salary Range: $75,000–$92,000 per year + Bonus + Benefits

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain statistical models to forecast product demand across categories and regions
Analyze sales history, seasonal trends, promotional impacts, and market factors to improve forecast accuracy
Partner with supply chain, merchandising, and inventory planning teams to align forecasts with business goals
Monitor forecast performance, identify variances, and recommend adjustments
Use BI tools and visualization dashboards to communicate forecasts and insights to stakeholders
Contribute to continuous improvement of forecasting processes, tools, and data quality
Support cross-functional initiatives to optimize stock levels and reduce out-of-stock situations

Qualifications & Eligibility:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Supply Chain, or related field
Proficiency in R, Python, or SAS for statistical modeling and analysis
Strong skills in Excel and SQL; experience with forecasting software preferred
Familiarity with retail demand planning and inventory management concepts
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative retail environment
