Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and care for children in the absence of parents
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow and thrive
- Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities, including arts, crafts, and outdoor play
- Prepare meals and snacks for children and assist with feeding routines
- Manage childrens schedules, including naps, bedtime, and school runs (if applicable)
- Perform light household duties related to the children, such as laundry and tidying up
- Communicate with parents about child behavior and development
- Provide emotional and developmental support to foster healthy relationships
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience in childcare, babysitting, or as a nanny (at least 1 year)
- Fluent in English (additional languages may be a plus)
- Valid drivers license and the ability to transport children (if needed)
- CPR/First Aid certification (preferred or willing to acquire)
- Friendly, patient, and reliable
- Must meet Canada immigration requirements (we provide visa sponsorship for eligible candidates)
- Ability to adapt to different family dynamics and routines
- Clean criminal record and background check
