Job Summary
Progressive Technology is seeking a talented and creative Freelance Unity Game Developer to join our dynamic team on a project basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for game development, a strong grasp of Unity engine capabilities, and experience delivering both 2D and 3D games across platforms. You will work closely with our designers, artists, and project managers to bring engaging gaming experiences to life, from concept to final deployment.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize 2D and 3D games using Unity Engine.
- Collaborate with designers, artists, and other developers to create seamless gameplay experiences.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
- Integrate assets, animations, physics, audio, and UI elements into the game environment.
- Troubleshoot and debug performance, compatibility, and gameplay issues.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging game development technologies and trends.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Deliver projects on time while maintaining high-quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Unity3D, C#, and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with both 2D and 3D game development.
- Knowledge of physics, animation, particle systems, and AI in games.
- Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Ability to optimize game performance for multiple platforms (PC, mobile, console).
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration.
Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of professional game development experience using Unity.
- Proven track record of released games or completed projects.
- Freelance or project-based experience is highly desirable.
